The Eastman Camping Club and its Officers coordinate group events throughout the year.   Those events are:

2009 Mid-Winter Thaw -  March 7, 2009.  We will have a dinner for this event, held at the Eastman Lodge. 

Campground Opens --  TBD for 2009

Spring Jamboree:  May 1 - 3, 2009

Fall Jamboree: September 25 - 27, 2009 
The drawing will be held at the Toy F. Reid Employee Center at 10:00 a.m.  Continental Breakfast will be provided.  
These Jamborees are a great time for fellowship and getting to know other camping club members!

Christmas Dinner :   December 6, 2008

• This is traditionally our largest gathering of the year.  We have great entertainment, food, and fun.
• Santa usually visits the children and it is great to see their excitement!
• In addition, the election of club officers for the coming year is held at this event.

Hope your year is going GREAT!  It is almost Christmas time again!  The camping club would like to invite you and your families to dinner and fellowship on December 6.  The officers have scheduled a great meal that will be catered this year.  All you have to do is show up and enjoy yourselves.  Please read the flyer carefully and make sure you fill out the form correctly and on time. No reservations will be accepted after the deadline of November 20. 

The camping club is doing something different this year.  We would like to make a contribution to the HOPE HOUSE of Kingsport, and ask that each of you bring an item from the wish list which is also attached in the email.  We will have a place designated for the donated items at the lodge the night of the dinner or if you cannot make it to the dinner, you can contact me and I will get the items from you. ( Hope House Services)
