Eastman Recreation offers several events throughout the year. In most cases, members may bring guests. Contact the Recreation office at 423-229-3771 for details.

Nov. 7 - Symphony of the Mountains will perform with pianist Max Levinson, an acclaimed pianist and Steinway artist. Program includes Ives' Variations on America, Dvorak's Symphony No. 9, From the New World and Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue. Come celebrate SOTM's 80th Anniversary at their homecoming concert. Classes and lessons

Eastman Recreation offers various classes and lessons throughout the year to members who want to broaden their skills and knowledge. Participants must meet club eligibility guidelines and, in most cases, pay a fee in addition to annual dues. Contact Eastman Recreation at 423- 229-3771 for details and to register.

Which fall door hanger is your favorite? Choose one and come paint it with instructor Tiffany Gildea at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 8 in Room 214 of the Toy F. Reid Employee Center. The fee is $30 and includes all materials. Eastman Recreation members receive a $5 discount. Fees must be paid the day you sign up for this class. Deadline to sign up is September 4.. Click here to sign up. Call 229-3771 or stop by the Eastman Recreation office inside the Toy F. Reid Employee Center during normal business hours to pay the fee. The class is limited to the first 25 paid participants.

Kingsport Art Guild

The guild creates opportunities for Eastman Recreation members and the greater Kingsport community to experience and showcase visual arts through instructional classes, educational lectures, special events and exhibitions.

Symphony of the Mountains

Symphony of the Mountains is celebrating over 60 years of bringing joy, art and culture through music to Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. For ticket information, call 423-392-8423.
