November 1 - Symphony of the Mountains will present "Rhythm and Renewal: A Percussion Spectacle" at the Toy F. Reid Employee Center at 7 pm. To purchase tickets, click here.

Classes and lessons

Eastman Recreation offers various classes and lessons throughout the year to members who want to broaden their skills and knowledge. Participants must meet club eligibility guidelines and, in most cases, pay a fee in addition to annual dues. Contact Eastman Recreation at 423- 229-3771 for details and to register.

Come paint a festive Christmas ornament canvas Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 5:30 p.m. in Room 214 of the Toy F. Reid Employee Center. Tiffany Gildea will lead you step-by-step in this acrylic painting class. You’ll have fun creating your own masterpiece regardless of your ability or skill level. The fee is $30 and includes all materials. Eastman Recreation members receive a $5 discount. Call x3771 or stop by the Eastman Recreation office inside the Toy F. Reid Employee Center during normal business hours to sign up and pay the fee. The class is limited to the first 20 paid participants.

Kingsport Art Guild

The guild creates opportunities for Eastman Recreation members and the greater Kingsport community to experience and showcase visual arts through instructional classes, educational lectures, special events and exhibitions.

Symphony of the Mountains
